What is DoH and how does it affect DNS?
Updated: Jan 4, 2021

DNS over HTTPS is referred to as DoH and it is now offering the ability to strengthen an organisations ability to control network traffic and turn away threats.
It does this through 3 major steps:
1. Enhancing DNS logging control
2. Allowing devices to echo locally.
3. Allowing open agents to fail open.
Being able to provide encryption to DNS gives us many opportunities for fine tuning privacy preferences whilst preserving the benefits of DNS filtering.
